The State of Games, Episode 31 – The One About Origins, Chemistry and The Big Blue Noodle

This is a really big show about a Really Big Show – namely, Origins Game Fair. Ok, so it wasn’t as Really Big as it usually is because of a date change and gamer malaise and rampaging pomeranians… but we’ll get to all that. Regardless, we had a blast at Origins, and it was awesome getting to meet and play with a whole bunch of you. At any rate, get comfortable – we’ve got a whole lotta podcast for ya!

  1. Not Darrell says:

Ah, Episode #31, or as I like to call it, the GREATEST PODCAST EPISODE EVER!

  2. Ken says:

A great episode, even without me being mentioned. Glad to know I’m not the only one who heard people talking about Origins concerning issues with the show and dates. UnPub was a blast, I’m glad you guys got me to go for Compounded. Saw some great games there, had a lot of fun, and no matter what Darrell says, we had a blast during the “4 hour game” of Compounded. He has a really solid game that I can’t wait to own. It was wonderful meeting you guys, hope you enjoy Nanuk, and can’t wait for GenCon! If there are any games you want me to bring, let me know. Can’t promsie I’ll let you keep these ones though. 😉

  3. Matt Riddle says:

Nice job as always and great to meet you guys too. Hopefully one day I can get my revenge by beating Darrell at Compounded…

  4. Matt Riddle says:

    also, nice use of z-axis

  5. Darrell Louder says:

Beat me, Mr. Riddle? Beat me?! Mwah ha ha ha ha.

Actually, it’s quite easy- I rarely ever win at my own game.

    (hangs head and saunters off)
