The State of Games, Episode 73 – The One About Tales of Gaming Terror

stateofgameslogonewThe air is crisp, the leaves are turning colors, and all the spooks and specters are coming out to play. In other words, it’s the greatest time of the year! We love our spooky stuff at Dice Hate Me, and we were eager to get back to our tradition of an especially spooky State of Games. 1. I always appreciate your recommendations, but I think you missed a good one which is currently on KS for another couple weeks, Omen: A Reign of War. It’s a fantastic 2-player card game worth checking out. See y’all soon at BGG.CON.

I saw Omen, but it slipped my mind. It’s been around before – good suggestion.

Funny that you mentioned Grodd (on Flash) – looks like they’re at least hinting at him.

I’m enjoying The Flash so far, and Arrow even moreso. I’m not a comic book guy, never read any of them, don’t have any idea about the mythos. I remember liking the old Flash TV show, but don’t remember anything about it.

So far the CW Flash show has not really impressed me with dialog and stuff like that, but I’m giving it a pass, I hope they get better with that. I think Arrow is much better in that regard.

In gaming news – I don’t know what it is you guys have against Tzolkin… It’s really good! 🙂
